We Love to Care about Utah Food Bank - Curtis W
The office staff at Findlay Subaru were able to spend the afternoon at the Utah Food bank assisting in filling boxes, organizing donations and distributing to much needed families. The Utah food bank helps many that are going through tough times or find themselves in need of basic living and personal hygiene items. We were glad that we could assist them in their efforts for an afternoon and are very grateful for their great work in our community.

Helping at Neighborhood Connection - Curtis W
The Neighborhood connection is a local charity that distributes over 800 take home bags for elementary aged students that need help over the weekend while they aren't in school. These bags are filled with food and other items to make sure they get the healthy nourishment that they need. We had the opportunity to volunteer and help stuff these bags.
The Tale of Betty White: A Subaru Loves Pets Success Story. - Kelli S
Betty White came into the RSQ program from one of the rural communities we serve. She was surrendered to us shortly after the passing of the legendary actress and comedian for whom she was named after. At only 4 years old, she had spent most of her life battling a severe cough. After numerous veterinary visits, and testing, the persistent cough was finally diagnosed as pulmonary fibrosis, a chronic and ultimately terminal condition. Cases like Betty's require constant medical attention and are usually challenging to find homes for. The "Subaru Loves Pets" event of 2023 was an immense success. With the help of our Findlay Subaru retailer and our RSQ volunteers, we hosted an awesome adoption event. The impact was phenomenal, with dozens of pets, including Betty White, finding their forever homes. Betty was adopted by her loving hospice foster family. And they have committed to love her for the time she has left. The story of Betty White is a testament to the power of compassion and the spirit of "Subaru Loves Pets". It reminds us that every pet, regardless of their medical conditions, deserves a loving home. The enduring commitment of our Findlay Subaru retailer and the RSQ volunteers made these happy endings possible, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
Fill the Bus Campaign for the Washington County School District - Curtis W
The Washington County School District Foundation needs help with homeless students and back to school supplies. Every year we use a school bus as a promotion to help fill those needs buy being a collection spot for back to school items. We park it at Walmart and other location and ask for people to donate anything they can as they do back to school shopping for their families. It has been a great help to the school district.
The Just one Project - Curtis W
Findlay Subaru came and supported the Just One Project and all their efforts for providing food and proper nourishment to those that are in need. When they say Subaru Loves to Help, they mean it! The Just One Project is an amazing organization that helps others when it comes to necessities, especially food. We got to meet amazing people, help people that were so grateful for our help, and work alongside fellow Subaru employees. We really do love to help, and we love sharing the love with our fellow Subaru family.
Helping dreams come true. - Martin T
Dear Findlay Subaru, We want to thank you for your continued support of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation of Utah through the annual Subaru Share the Love® program. The new Enoch Wildlife Rescue center is now under construction, and you have helped make this possible. The permitting process has been completed. The groundwork is completed, the concrete has been poured for the footings and foundation and we're getting ready to erect the 40 x 100 -foot eagle flight chamber building. Once the eagle flight chamber is standing, we will start construction of our wildlife care clinic and reception area and the 15 additional smaller chambers for hawks, owls and falcons. We don't believe it's possible to put into words how grateful we are for your support. You are helping our dreams come true, providing new facilities to care for injured and orphaned native wildlife and bringing environmental awareness and education to more people. The projected date for completion of the project is early January 2024. As we get closer to the rescue center being operational, we will let you know about our plans for a grand opening. Until then we will do our best to keep our updated on our progress. With tremendous appreciation. Sincerely, Martin & Susan Tyner, Founders Southwest Wildlife Foundation, Inc. Subaru of America and FIndlay Subaru donate blankets for cancer patients - Curtis W
Findlay Subaru and Subaru of America teamed up as part of the Subaru Share the Love® Event and donated 80 blankets to the Intermountain Health Care Cancer center. The blankets will be used to comfort those that are in getting chemo treatments and other forms of cancer treatments. Blankets have a way to comfort all ages and can be used as a reminder of the treatments that were had and the victory that was made over being ill.
Utah Wildlife Thanks Findlay Subaru and Subaru of America - Susan T
May 28, 2023 Enoch Wildlife Rescue received a $14,500 donation from Findlay Subaru during a live bird of prey program at the Red Cliffs spring bird festival. This check brings Findlay Subaru and the Subaru Share the Love® Event donations to more than $100,000 to the Southwest Wildlife Foundation over the past ten years. Providing educational outreach programs to people of all ages and providing care and rehabilitation to thousands of injured and orphaned wildlife, the Enoch Wildlife Rescue begins new construction in June 2023. A raptor rescue center which includes 100 long by 40 wide by 16 high eagle flight chamber will provide large birds the exercise needed for successful releases back to the wild. Fifteen additional large raptor chambers will be added, along with a new wildlife rescue clinic to provide triage, intensive care and orphaned care for wildlife which will also give us the space to train new volunteers. Findlay Subarus Loves Promise® shows their commitment to improving our environment, protecting our native wildlife, enriching our communities and making a positive impact for future generations. Thank you, Susan Tyner, Co-Founder, Southwest Wildlife Foundation, Inc.
Findlay Subaru presents a $14,500 check to Southwest Utah Wildlife Rescue - Curtis W
We had the opportunity to present our Subaru Share the Love® Event check to Southwest Utah Wildlife Rescue in front of 150 people at a bird watchers convention. This donation will continue to help them build a wildlife rescue rehabilitation center that will help care for injured animals that have been rescued. Southwest Utah Wildlife rescue is on call 24 hours a day to rescue all types of wildlife that have been injured, struck by a vehicle, nuisance to land owners or farmers or assisting the State of Utah with wildlife needs. This has been a great cause and one that pairs perfectly with Subaru's "leave no mark" mentality when out among wildlife.
RSQ/ Findlay Subaru St. George/ Dexter - Kelli S
At RSQ Animal Rescue Team in St. George, we look forward to the month of October and our partnership with Findlay Subaru St. George. The support we have received from Findlay Subaru has been such a blessing to the Animals in our program. RSQ takes in some of the most difficult medical cases in Utah from our outlying rural communities. Dexter is just one of the many under dogs that RSQ has saved from terrible situations. And lucky for Dexter, he found his fur-ever home during the Subaru Loves Pets event! Dexter is a senior dog who has lived a life of neglect. He had not known love or kindness or even the simplest of care. He came into the RSQ program very thin, with parasites, severe eye, ear, and skin infections underneath some of the worst matting we have ever seen. It took several days of grooming to get him cleaned up. And weeks of quiet and gentle handling to earn his trust. With the continued support from the Findlay Subaru of St. George and the Subaru Loves Pets Charity, Dexter received all of the medical care he needed and has now found his perfect home where he will be loved and spoiled for the rest of his life. We wanted to say Thank you again to Findlay Subaru of St. George and Dax Vandenberghe for hosting our amazing October 22nd adoption event at the dealership. Our animals and volunteers all had so much fun and we had over 30 adoptions! One of your employees even adopted one of our cats! Congratulations to Robert Newcomb on your adoption of Fritter. Thank you again and we are excited to do this event next year. -RSQ Animal Rescue Team-
